Back to School Health and Resource Fair-Special Needs Network, Inc.



Areva is a nationally recognized children and women’s rights advocate and autism spokesperson. She is the founder and President of Special Needs Network, Inc., a Los Angeles based non-profit organization created specifically to raise awareness of issues that impact individuals with autism and related disabilities, living in under-served and marginalized communities. SNN has provided services to over 30,000 families in communities across California. Red Book Magazine named Areva one of '10 women changing the face of autism'. Areva has raised millions of dollars for autism related causes and, through her advocacy, has made the issue of serving minority children with autism a key priority for local and state policy-makers, and positioned Special Needs Network as the “go to” autism agency in the state
